Accessing Accounts Payable Activities

You must first Log In to MacysNet. Use the Log in link on the home page.

  1. Enter your Username and Password, then click the Login button.
  2. Verify that the Username displayed on the top right is correct. If this is not your own account, please use the CLICK HERE link to Register.

Chargebacks & RTVs
  1. Make sure Chargebacks & RTVs is selected in the Activity drop-down list.
  2. Select the Division for which you want information.
  3. If you have more than one Account Number, select the one for which you want information.
  4. Enter up to 10 chargeback numbers in the Document boxes.
  5. If you wish to have the results emailed, check the Email My Results box.
  6. Click Submit. (Clicking Reset will clear all information that has been selected or entered.)
  7. Your results, or a message stating that results were emailed, will be displayed on the right.

Status of Invoice
  • Open (00-Status) - Invoice has been entered into the Macy's system, however it has not been matched to a receipt.
  • Trial Balance (20-Status)Invoice has posted to the vendor/factor account. Funds will be disbursed based upon payment terms and date merchandise was received, provided each of the Macy's divisions combined balances reflect a credit.
  • Paid (30-Status) - Check has been issued.
  • No Record - Invoice does not exist in the Macy's system. Contact your internal EDI department and confirm transmission to Macy's. If no EDI capability, mail invoices to:

    ATTENTION: Invoice Processing
    1. Make sure Status of Invoice is selected in the Activity drop-down list.
    2. Select the Division for which you want information.
    3. If you have more than one Account Number, select the one for which you want information.
    4. Enter invoice number in the Document box.
    5. If you wish to have the results emailed, check the Email My Results box.
    6. Click Submit. (Clicking Reset will clear all information that has been selected or entered.)
    7. Your results, or a message stating that results were emailed, will be displayed on the right.

    Status of Invoice by PO
  • Open (00-Status) - Invoice has been entered into the Macy's system, however it has not been matched to a receipt.

    Trial Balance

    1. Make sure Trial Balance is selected in the Activity drop-down list.
    2. Select the Division for which you want information.
    3. If you have more than one Account Number, select the one for which you want information.
    4. If you wish to have the results emailed, check the Email My Results box.
    5. Click Submit. (Clicking Reset will clear all information that has been selected or entered.)
    6. Your results, or a message stating that results were emailed, will be displayed on the right.

    Check Detail
    1. Make sure Check Detail is selected in the Activity drop-down list.
    2. Select the Division for which you want information.
    3. If you have more than one Account Number, select the one for which you want information.
    4. Enter check number in the Document box.
    5. If you wish to have the results emailed, check the Email My Results box.
    6. Click Submit. (Clicking Reset will clear all information that has been selected or entered.)
    7. Your results, or a message stating that results were emailed, will be displayed on the right.

    Check Detail by Division
    1. Make sure Check Detail by Division is selected in the Activity drop-down list.
    2. Select the Division for which you want information.
    3. If you have more than one Account Number, select the one for which you want information.
    4. Enter check number in the Document box.
    5. If you wish to have the results emailed, check the Email My Results box.
    6. Click Submit. (Clicking Reset will clear all information that has been selected or entered.)
    7. Your results, or a message stating that results were emailed, will be displayed on the right.

    Last Two Checks
    1. Make sure Last Two Checks is selected in the Activity drop-down list.
    2. Select the Division for which you want information.
    3. If you have more than one Account Number, select the one for which you want information.
    4. If you wish to have the results emailed, check the Email My Results box.
    5. Click Submit. (Clicking Reset will clear all information that has been selected or entered.)
    6. Your results, or a message stating that results were emailed, will be displayed on the right.

    Multiple PO
    1. Make sure Multiple PO is selected in the Activity drop-down list.
    2. Select the Division for which you want information.
    3. If you have more than one Account Number, select the one for which you want information.
    4. Enter up to 10 PO numbers in the Document boxes.
    5. If you wish to have the results emailed, check the Email My Results box.
    6. Click Submit. (Clicking Reset will clear all information that has been selected or entered.)
    7. Your results, or a message stating that results were emailed, will be displayed on the right.

    PO Lookup

    Note: For invoice status, see Status of Invoice by PO
    1. Make sure PO Lookup is selected in the Activity drop-down list.
    2. Select the Division for which you want information.
    3. If you have more than one Account Number, select the one for which you want information.
    4. Enter PO number in the Document box.
    5. If you wish to have the results emailed, check the Email My Results box.
    6. Click Submit. (Clicking Reset will clear all information that has been selected or entered.)
    7. Your results, or a message stating that results were emailed, will be displayed on the right.

    Vendor Integrity Audit
    1. Make sure Vendor Integrity Audit is selected in the Activity drop-down list.
    2. Select the Division for which you want information.
    3. If you have more than one Account Number, select the one for which you want information.
    4. If you wish to have the results emailed, check the Email My Results box.
    5. Click Submit. (Clicking Reset will clear all information that has been selected or entered.)
    6. Your results, or a message stating that results were emailed, will be displayed on the right.

    Printing Results in Internet Explorer

    Note: These instructions are for Internet Explorer version 6.0. Other versions may be slightly different.

    The Accounts Payable portion of our web site uses frame technology. To print using frames, use the following steps.

    1. Select the frame you want to print by clicking on text in that frame.
    2. Move your mouse to the File menu.
    3. Scroll down to Print.
    4. In the Print dialog box, select the Options tab. In the Print frames area, make sure that Only the selected frame is checked.
    5. Press the Print button to print to your default printer.

    Printing Results in Netscape Navigator

    The Accounts Payable portion of our web site uses frame technology. To print using frames, use the following steps.

    1. Select the frame you want to print by clicking on text in that frame.
    2. Move your mouse to the File menu.
    3. Scroll down to Print Frame.
    4. Press the OK button to print to your default printer.
