Accessing Parts Ordering & Tracking

You must first Log In to MacysNet. Use the Log in link on the home page.
NOTE: You should have already received a User Name and Password from Macy's. If you do not have this information, contact your Macy's Customer Service Representative for assistance.

  1. Enter your Username and Password, then click the Login button.




  2. Verify that the Username displayed on the top right is correct. If this is not your own account, please use the CLICK HERE link to Register.






  3. If necessary, scroll the menu on the left down, and click the Parts Ordering & Tracking link in the left menu to continue.

New Request

Use this function to input a new parts order.

  1. Select New Request from the Activity drop-down list on the left, then click Submit.


  2. Complete the Request Parts Entry screen and click Next. (Salescheck# is optional, and Locator Tag should be left blank.


  3. The Request Parts Detail screen will appear with your company information.

  4. Make any necessary changes to your company information.
  5. Enter your name as the Requestor Name and your internal Work Order # (Optional), and click Next to continue.
  6. The Request Parts Detail screen will refresh, and display input fields to enter parts.

  7. Enter each part individually. Be specific in the Parts Description field, it holds 255 characters, and will scroll as you type.
  8. Click the Add button each time you need to enter an additional part. Scroll down to see all parts added.
  9. Click Next when all parts are entered for this job.
  10. The Request Parts Detail screen will refresh and display Ship-To Information.

  11. Select either Customer, Workroom, Service Company or Other in the Search Ship-To Info drop-down list then click Search, or type in the Ship-To Information manually, then click Next.
  12. The Request Parts Detail screen will refresh to display all entered information and a Notes field at the bottom.

  13. Enter any necessary notes.
  14. If you are not ready to submit to Macy's for approval (if you need more information, for example), click Save Request.

  15. OR
    Click Submit For Approval.

    The order will be forwarded to the division Workroom Manager to approve, then on the vendor for fulfillment. You will receive a message on your screen instantly that 'Parts Order XXXX has been submitted for Approval'. (XXXX is your Macy's order number.)

Edit Request

Use this function to make a change to a parts order.

  1. Select Edit Request from the Activity drop-down list on the left, then click Submit.
  2. Enter as much information about the order you would like to edit, and click Search. The system will retreive and display all parts orders that meet the criteria entered.



  3. The Parts Request Selection List screen will appear. To edit an order, click on the Parts Request ID.
    NOTE:You can only edit an order in Working status. You may add Notes in any status
  4. Click Next after making necessary changes. You make changes to the following fields: Company, Requestor Name, Daytime Phone, Email and Work Order #.
  5. Click the Add button to add parts to the order. Click Next to continue.
  6. Click Next after making necessary changes to the Ship-To Information.
  7. Enter any necessary Notes and click Submit for Approval to update the system.

Cancel Request

Use this function to cancel a parts order.

  1. Select Cancel Request from the Activity drop-down list on the left, then click Submit.


  2. Enter as much information about the order you would like to cancel, and click Search. The system will retreive and display all parts orders that meet the criteria entered.



  3. The Parts Request Selection List screen will appear. To cancel an order, click on the Parts Request ID.
    NOTE:You can only cancel an order in one of the following statuses: Working, Submitted for Approval, Approved, Ordered.
  4. Enter the reason you are canceling the order at the bottom of the screen, then click Cancel.

View Request

Use this function to view the status of a parts order. You can also use this function to add Notes to an order in any status.

  1. Select View Request from the Activity drop-down list on the left, then click Submit.


  2. Enter as much information about the order you would like to view, and click Search. The system will retreive and display all parts orders that meet the criteria entered.



  3. The Request Parts Detail screen will appear. To view order detail, click on the Parts Request ID.

Receiving Info

Use this function to update the system, indicating that parts have been received.

  1. Select Receiving Info from the Activity drop-down list on the left, then click Submit.


  2. Enter as much information about the parts order received, and click Search. The system will retreive and display all parts orders that meet the criteria entered.



  3. The Parts Request Selection List screen will appear. To indicate an order has been received, click on the Parts Request ID.
  4. At the bottom of the screen is a listing of all items ordered.

  5. Enter the number received in the Curr Qty Rcvd field.
  6. Enter today's date in the Date Rcvd field.
  7. Click Submit to update the system, indicating the order has been received.
  8. You can check the box at the bottom to complete an entire order.

Sample Emails
  1. Here is a sample of the email you will receive indicating merchandise has been shipped:


  2. Parts Order # 7 has been shipped.  Fulfillment code: Vendor
    

The email references the Parts Ordering & Tracking order number, and the third party responsible for fulfillment (Vendor or Workroom).
