Introducing PO Carton Consolidation
at Federated Department Stores

Federated Department Stores is pleased to introduce a new program called PO Carton Consolidation. This new program will improve supply chain efficiency by now allowing you to pack and ship multiple purchase orders for the same store in one carton.

PO Carton Consolidation Program Details


Timing
Participation is currently voluntary for all vendors.

System Requirements
Your system should be evaluated to determine if modifications to your current Warehouse Management System (WMS) are required to support this enhanced process.

This new program requires additional considerations.

• Updated 856 mapping and label requirements were communicated in Fall 2003.
• All POs in the carton and the Master Shipment ID must be displayed on the UCC128.
• All vendors providing scannable UCC128 labels may be eligible to participate in the program.
